Well the DSL is back at least and I can now blog again.
However, I still am down with the flu and have not run the whole week. What’s a running blog without any running? Perhaps an endurance event called Ultra Xmas Partying should be recognized, but then I would have been listed down as DNF’ed. Due to my state of delirium, I actually missed a party because I thought it was going to be held later in the day. Worse, I even texted the hosts to ask what time the party would start just as it had ended. Despite the running nose, the headaches, and the incessant cough, I managed to accomodate clients, friends, and loved ones in week full of memorable celebrations.
I thought it was a simple allergy and when I finally let go of that delusion, I thought I could outlast it like I had the past few months. I tried not to mind the sudden cold snap in the office as the centralized aircon set for summer temperatures blew freezing winds into our cubicles. I tried not to stress out too much on missed budgets at work and forgotten gifts for the office kris kringle. I came home at reasonable hours (read:before midnight) to rest hoping that the next day I would feel well enough to train. To no avail.
So I will just rest for now and blog a little.
Aw, I hope you feel better really soon.

Hey guys, thanks for the well wishes. Actually the frustrating part is gauging if I am good to run for the day running nose, cough, and all. Hoping to get in a few runs this week though…see you all soon and Merry Christmas if I don’t!
